Oni No Kenkyūshitsu - an Ao Oni fangame

A sequel to my first Ao Oni fangame, Oni No Yakata. Please play that one first if you haven't already.

Oni No Kenkyūshitsu ("Laboratory Of The Oni") is a sequel to Oni No Yakata, set 10 years in the future, in the year 2028. You once more play as Ayana Hasegawa as she enters a new job as an intern at Crovich Research Facility, hoping to find a solution to the existence of the Oni that cost her the life of one of her friends, and the lives of many others before them. Little does she know, a combination of poor containment procedures and upper management with ulterior motives will cause the facility to unexpectedly release its specimens and cause chaos.

Mechanics such as health make a return and are more refined. A single hit from most enemies won't instantly kill you, with exceptions depending on the enemy. You can heal yourself after chases have ended with painkillers and first aid kits. More logic puzzles are added, making up for their absence in the precursor game. And you can learn more about the facility through discarded letters, terminals, and chat logs. Make sure to interact with EVERYTHING or you might miss some things!

The game features two main endings, and one secret ending. Some choices will affect the flow of the story.
